What is the Ringside Amateur Boxing Foundation?
The Ringside Amateur Boxing Foundation (RABF) fosters national and international amateur boxing competition, thereby helping athletes obtain the many life-long benefits gained through the sport. The objective of this non-profit organization is to raise tax deductible contributions to cover the cost to award $30,000 in prizes for youth and adult athletes and expenses of 200 volunteers, officials and physicians. Volunteers generously give a week of their time to allow 1,500+ athletes an opportunity to realize their dream of competing at the annual Ringside World Championships (RWC) tournament. Over 2/3 of the athletes are between the ages of 8 to 18 years old and they have trained vigorously through the year with mentors, coaches and volunteers in their home gyms in preparation for the event.

These athletes work tirelessly for this once-a-year opportunity to demonstrate their athletic skill, sportsmanship, discipline and work ethic, which are foundational attributes of the sport. Learned through boxing, these, and many more, positive characteristics help to prepare young athletes for a lifetime of success, both in and out of the ring, as well as instill confidence that can last a lifetime. RABF is proud to continue the tradition of hosting the world’s largest amateur boxing tournament and with your help we look forward to another successful RWC that will ultimately crown over 300 champions!
