International Invitation

This is your individual clubs' and athlete’s official invitation to participate in the 2010 Ringside World Championships. Please use this letter as your invitation for visa requests. If additional information for visas is required, please let us know and we will try to assist you in obtaining your visas.

Any club or individual boxer who wishes to participate in this tournament is cordially invited. An application and information packet can be found at www.ringside.com or we can send an application packet by E-mail or fax upon request.

This tournament is the largest amateur boxing tournament held in the world. We expect 1,400 athletes or more from throughout the world. We offer the opportunity to compete to more athletes than any other tournament. The Ringside World Championships Tournament provides the finest in awards.

It is required that each club or athlete have a written authorization letter to participate from your Federation/Association. This authorization letter must be provided with the participant’s application by July 23, 2010 so that we may complete our reporting obligation to USA Boxing. You must also have an International Passbook or Federation/Association Passbook, which ever is available.

Insurance is a requirement for all international teams, other than Canada, unless you provide proof of insurance through your Federation/Association. You must be insured through Trav Med, an Olympic insurance program, at a cost of $3.50 per day, per person. Athletes must be covered and coaches should be covered. Additional members of your delegation may also wish to carry this medical insurance at the same cost. It is suggested that you insure every member of the delegation for each day of travel and the dates of competition. However, athletes must have insurance for the competition dates and it must be obtained prior to July 23, 2010. Please contact Dave Lubs at davel@ringside.com for the insurance.

All the very best to your Federation/Association and we hope that many of your athletes can participate in one of the greatest tournaments held in the sport of amateur boxing. If you have any questions, please contact us at our national office. Visit www.ringside.com for tournament information and application forms.
